VR-action-exhibition "Glushilka" 2020 in the format for passers-by. The main element of the project is the Soviet antenna "jammer" as an integral installation, which served as an information block for Western broadcasting. Today it acts as a stand for transmitting antennas. An attempt to investigate the availability of information flows in different eras. Its blocking during the times of totalitarianism with the help of radio noise and today's abundance of information has turned into a free flow of meanings with many ideologies and beliefs.
The project includes a VR space with photo and audio, located in the recreated 3d gallery Gagosian Gallery New York, USA. This approach blurs the line between reality and distance, a viewer on the street in Kharkov (using a QR code and virtual reality glasses) finds himself in a gallery located in America. It is also interesting to consider what else this structure can carry possible visual functions on the example of virtual experiments, using the architecture of antenna trusses as a decoration of the urban Soviet style.
Materials are taken from available Internet sources.
